Mond “73”

DESIGNED 2019

Mond is a songwriting project from Los Angeles, California. Their first EP, “73”, contains beautiful vintage-sounding songs influenced by Folk, Brill Building and Westcoast pop, and a bit of Art Rock. Listen to it at Spotify or SoundCloud.

Three EPs are planned around the emotional geographies of “Home”, “World” and “Mind”. This first one shows the window of my workspace (including our cat who is coincidentally named Moon Star) with a few artifacts meaningful to the band. However, the outside shows not contemporary Silver Lake but a 1981 photograph taken in West Germany.
